A progressive winemaking practice employing the best of traditional methods. 

Werkstatt combines a love of cool climate wines from Alsace to Austria, with a contemporary, collaborative ethos. 

Bridget Mac trained and worked as an artist before making the move to winemaking, and has spent several vintages working with some of the finest winemakers in Australia and France. Werkstatt launched in 2022 with a single cool climate Riesling.

In 2024 Bridget was awarded the Young Gun of Wine - Best New Act award. In the same year the 2024 Mount Gambier Riesling was featured in Max Allen’s top 20 drinks of the year.
In 2025 Bridget’s inaugural Gewürztraminer was celebrated in the Halliday Wine Companion Top 100 Wines of 2025.

Werkstatt wines are featured on many of the best wine lists in restaurants and bars within Australia.
