Toffee sugar, fresh hazelnut, and ripe yellow fruit lead the nose, alongside night-blooming florals, delicate feijoa, and warm slate. The palate is bright and mouth-filling, driven by sharp lemon, lime, grapefruit pith, and green walnut. A classy, gentle mousse carries the bright, driving acidity through to an exceptionally long, clean finish.

Terroir
The fruit for the 2026 Sparkling Riesling is sourced from maritime, cool climate Mount Gambier. The soil profile is dominated by metamorphosed limestone. The vineyard is organically managed.

Winemakers notes
A long, cool 2026 vintage in Mount Gambier—marked by increased rainfall—delivered excellent fruit quality and vibrant natural acidity, with harvest landing three and a half weeks later than the previous year. The grape were gently pressed via a long, cold cycle and cold-settled, the juice was racked into neutral oak for primary fermentation. The base wine matured on full solids until mise en tirage, yielding a fresh, precise sparkling bottled without extended autolysis to highlight its pure, primary fruit expression.
